Carry on regardless.

So today I found out that my work hadn't been selected for an open exhibition.  This is the second one this month, but only my second ever, so at the moment I am just appreciating the fact that I have tried in the first place. For me this is a big deal as a year ago I wouldn't have even contemplated entering one.  Luckily I got the message while I was at my desk painting and so as it goes I'm not giving up yet. And I'm also a little bit pleased with these two small sketches, these will keep me going for a while...
