Capturing a memory; I know I'm not on my own here when it comes to taking photographs on a day out, the world we live in now provides constant opportunities to record our daily lives. I like to record the look and feel of a place. It's important not to look through the lens all the time and to really feel in the moment for a true experience but I love to have some glorious photographs on the return home.
Of course there are lots of photographs that I take that support the landscapes and compositions that I end up trying to put into paint or ink but the selection on this page are photographs that I have taken and feel like they are creations in their own right.
I do need to give this page a bit of an update but please find me on Instagram under @jess.egan.art and @pictures.of.mine_ (my art and photography accounts respectively) for more regular images, thank you.
